Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)


Do you charge for consultation?


Yes. There is a $50 charge along with filling out a questionnaire prior to our meeting.  

The questionnaire can be downloaded from our website. If you choose to use our

services the consultant fee will be applied towards the total cost of selected services 

or package put together for your event.


How far in advance should I reserve my date?


We recommend that you reserve your date with Unique Preference at least 6-12 months

out from your event.  We can work with 4 months out, we just prefer to have enough 

time to prep and prepare for your event.


Can I get a quote over the phone?


No.  We prefer to give a quote after we have reviewed the questionnaire and meet so

that we understand everything in its entirety.  We want to be clear about what it is that you want from Unique Preference to provide for your event.


In order to hold my date what percentage of the cost is due in advance?


Once contract is agreed upon it will disclose all necessary details based on your chosen

package or selected services.  There will be a non-refundable fee determined and

included in your contract in order to hold your date.


Do you charge a traveling fee?


Yes.  Unique Preference will travel up to a 50 mile radius.  Expenses will be determined 

on how far we travel.


Do you have a payment plan?


Yes, once you pay your deposit you can pay as you like, it is required that your balance 

Is paid in full 30 days prior to event.


If necessary can I change the date?


Yes, Unique Preference must first confirm the availability of your new date.  We are willing to 

work with our clients.


If I cancel my event or no longer need Unique Preference do I get a refund?


The deposit and monies paid at the time are non-refundable however it can be used to rent linens only. You will not be obligated to pay the balance in full if not already paid.  If you cancel 30 days or less monies are non-refundable but you can choose a new date for another event if possible.


What method of payment do you except?


We will send you an invoice through PayPal and you can by through PayPal, cash, or 

major credit card.
